Temperatures return to the normal range for the next few days, bringing a brief end to the unseasonably cool conditions.
Look for partly cloudy skies for the day as highs push to the low to mid 70s with a light wind of 5-10 mph from the east-southeast.
A ridge of high pressure attempts to hold on, keeping a frontal boundary off to our north and west for a couple of days, delivering similar weather for Friday and Saturday.
A weak front will slide through the area Saturday night delivering only a few isolated sprinkles and slightly cooler air for Sunday and Monday.
A second storm system may have a better chance at delivering some rain as it moves in to the region Tuesday night and Wednesday of next week.
