Another round of rain and turbulent weather for our area this afternoon with some of the rain extending into the evening hours.  A summer time pattern is in effect around our area with the chance of rain today at 60 percent. 

An upper level are of low pressure sits overhead, keeping a very unsettled weather pattern in place. At the surface, warm and moist southeast winds continue, keeping the area summer-like.

Today, deep moisture remains in place, which keeps scattered showers and storms likely.  Expect a warm and humid day, as highs reach the mid 80s along the coast, with upper 80s inland.

Tonight, lingering convection is expected through sunset. Overnight, lows will range from 67 in Ocala to 69 in Palm Coast to 69 in Orlando to 70 Melbourne, with a chance of for patchy fog development.

Tomorrow, the weather pattern stays unsettled, keeping scattered showers and storms across the region. Expect partly sunny skies and daytime highs in the mid to upper 80s for most. A few inland locations will hit the 90 degree mark.

Through the rest of the workweek, coverage of afternoon storms will be slightly lower, but still a tad bit above normal for this time of year. Hot afternoons and warm nights are in store. Highs will reach the upper 80s to lower 90s, with lows dropping into the upper 60s and lower 70s.

This weekend, rain chances dissipate as drier air returns behind a frontal boundary. By Sunday, slightly cooler and drier air makes for a comfortable day. Daytime highs will reach the mid 80s with lows in the mid 60s.
