Zachary Maynard - a 12th grader at South Lake High School. This is his 3rd semester in the Television Productions class. His current plans after High School are to attend college; he’s currently in the process of deciding his field of interest/career.
Bailey Phillips - I want to be able to tape a video very well. And use all the aspects of how to do a good video. For after high school I want to go to college and become a neonatal nurse. And have a family and kids.
Ben Borysiewicz - I’m in my first year in TV productions so I am learning a lot. My goal after high school is to swim for FSU.
Bret Purvis - My name is Bret Purvis. I am in 11th grade. This is my first year in TV production; however I have a natural love for it.
Cheyna Bryant - 11th grade, This is my first time being in TV production in south lake high school. When I was in elementary school I was an anchor for the morning announcements. I also competitive dancer and a gymnast, I have been a dancer for eleven years and a gymnast for four years. My goals with this program are to learn more about being in front of and behind the camera. I am considering being an anchor when I am older. After high school I want to go to college to get a doctors degree in my career. The careers I am considering are zoologist, marine biologist, or an actor.
Destini Rodriguez - Junior (11th Grade) I’m in my introductory year to TV production, so I am still leering. I really don’t have any goals with the program because this is not my area of interest but it is a fun class and very interesting! My Goals after high school is to go to college I want to work in the medical field as a nurse. So through my 4 years of college I plan to focus on that and accomplish my goal and hopefully earn a degree in the medical field; And one day be working in a hospital in the labor and delivery unit!
Jordan Conner - Hi, my name is Jordan Conner and I’m a junior at South Lake High School TV production has been a part of my life for 2 years. It’s a really awesome program and the whole class seems to be invested in the courses even though some of us never believed we would be interested in such a class. My favorite is to edit sporting events. Mr. Clark is a great teacher and he really cares about us and the program as a whole. I can honestly say TV production is my favorite class. I’ve also been involved in Varsity cheerleading for three years, All-star cheerleading for 2 years and plan on attending USF after I graduate to start studying Sports Medicine.
Kelcy Collins - 10th Grade, I’m in my introductory year to TV production, so I am still learning. My goal for this program is to learn as much as I can about how the camera fits into the life of acting. I want to know how to create videos and developed them to be professional. My goals after high school: I want to become a teacher at high school, preferably either music or a World History teacher. I would like to advance to a Assistant Principal or a Principal. I then want to retire and start my own school. A private school that will have all the aspects I think a school should include
Kelsi Floyd - My name is Kelsi Floyd, I am 15 and in the 10th grade. I’m in my introductory year to TV production, so I am still learning. My goals with TV production are to be able to tape a video with the proper guidelines. My goal after high school is to go to college and become a nurse.
Mario Barco - Grade: 11, I’m in TV production 1 I signed up for this class last year; I find this class very interesting. I would like to pass this class with an A and try to learn as much as I can about the cameras and the editing programs because I am interested in a career in this field. After high school I would like to go to college and earn a degree in either the medical field, architectural field, or the television/movie industry.
Noah Bowes - My name is Noah Thomas Bowes and I attend South Lake High School in Groveland. I have been in the TV production program for two years now. My favorite thing about it is my friends and my favorite teacher Mr. Scott Clark. I also enjoy filming school events and getting into them for free. Someday, I would like to maybe go in to the business side of filming. My favorite things to film are sporting events. There what I know best and can stay concentrated on. In my life at South Lake I’m also involved in varsity basketball. My goal is to get a scholarship and play college ball. I hope that one day I can make it somewhere in TV production.
Ny-Asia Peterson - In my introductory year to TV production, so I am still learning how to edit videos and be creative with them. My goals with the program are being able to know how to interview people, edit movies, and etc. Going to college and major in something that I think I am going to be able to be good at.
Randall Strickland - 11th Grade, I am in my first year as a TV production student, so I am definitely still learning. Some goals of mine in taking this program are to be able to create video clips and learn the power of editing. Also I want to learn about all sorts of different technology. My goals after high school are to go to a great college and become a zoological vet at the San Diego zoo.
Reyna Echevarria - I’m in my first year of TV production and I still have a lot to learn, some of my goals while I’m in this program is to be able to edit a video and become somewhat familiar with the technology that we have in production. After high school I plan on going to college to be either a registered nurse, OB/GYN, or an astronomer.
Sean Terrell - I am interested in being a sports broadcaster when I grow up. I have now been in TV productions for 3 years and I am about to be 17 years old. I am a sports fanatic whose TV channel never changes from ESPN. I’ve made TV productions my basis for school, and while I dual enroll at Lake Sumter Community College; I am also a student at South Lake High school and have a 3.7 GPA. I tend on doing two years of community college and then direct transferring to the University of Central Florida. This is something that is a dream to me, and I will do whatever I can to achieve it. I am a child of a single parent, and live with my mother who is disabled. I am currently employed by L&J Jewelry Company. I am very excited for the opportunity, to be doing highlight videos for bright house. Thank you, and have a nice day.
Taylor Marris - Grade 12, This is my first year in T.V. Productions and I love everything about it! Goals: My goals for this program are to learn as much as I can about T.V. Production, continue into the more advanced classes, and possibly pursue a future job in the television industry. Future Goals: My goals after high school are to get a full-ride to a Florida university for softball where I can major in communication and media at Palm Beach Atlantic University.
Vanesa Gomez - 10th grade, I’m in my first year of TV production and I still have to learn a lot, Some of my goals in this program are to do edit some video’s and to learn new things with technology that we have in TV production. My goal after high school is to go to a great college and be an OB/GYN, or an Architect. And be very successful and have no worries in life.
