Cathy Brooke - is currently a senior at Lake Weir High School. She is a confirmed extrovert who is up for almost anything. She has been in T.V production for three years now, working on segments and producing the morning announcements.
Courtney Brannon - has been in TV production for three years and also in drama for two years. Courtney is very outgoing and loves to be on camera. She loves to travel and loves going to the beach. When Courtney is out of high school she wants to go to college for film because she loves TV production.
Tanner Moriarty - was born on October 4th, 1995. Ever since age 3, he's wanted to be an actor. Around age 13, his interest in acting became an interest in all things movie related. That unrest soon became a passion. He started to make his own movies and produce the introduction videos for his middle school's morning news. He also wrote a story called "A Treasure to be Known," which was published in The Mahogany Revue (a local news paper in Ocala, Florida). Then in eighth grade, he earned a scholarship through Take Stock in Children. On his second year of TV Production at Lake Weir High, he became the floor director for their morning news. Now he is 16 and on his third year of TV Production. He still has his scholarship and plans on attending Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.
Alana Brunson - has been in TV Productions since her years at Osceola Middle School. Her latest achievements would include winning a first place in FAME for her PSA on encouraging going to the library and reading. She is certified in Adobe Photoshop, and has done many different workshops for filmmakers at her local library. Her dream job is to work in a film company to edit films. Alana hopes to be accepted at Florida State University’s Film Program. Other than editing videos, Alana loves to act and sing in her local church. Alana is in the honors program at Lake Weir High school, she has held a 3.5 or better GPA all three years. Alana Is excited to see what new things are in store for her future.
Bradly Newton - started in TV production at Lake Weir Middle School when he joined the TV production club. There he helped the club make a opening segment for their morning announcements. Once he started Lake Weir High School he started taking the school’s TV production class. This is where he learned the majority of his skills on making segments. During his first year he started making various segments trying to improve his skills. During second year of the class he started making videos for the schools local competition. At the competition his group got 1st place for News Packages and he got 3rd place for instructional videos. Bradly is currently taking his third year of TV production and hopes to continue to improve his skills.
Courtney Duprey - is self-motivated, outgoing, easy to get along with, and an all-around enjoyable person. She has been involved in TV Production for the past three years. Courtney played an active role in Lake Weir’s award winning “Storm Surge” which placed first in FAME 2012. As a junior in high school, she continues to strive for excellence in her academic classes and knowledge in TV Production. Courtney has also been on the ladies’ varsity soccer and golf team for three years. Her goal is to attend the University of Florida on either an academic or golf scholarship. Courtney’s future plans are to become a news reporter or pursue another type of career that involves video cameras, news, production, and editing
Keeley Juopperi - is a junior at Lake Weir High Schooll where she has been in the TV Productions program for three years. Last year she help Lake Weir win first place for news show at the Marion County Student Media Festival; Keeley plans to bring home more wins this year. Keeley is very outgoing and friendly. As well as her love for media production, Keeley aslo enjoys being active and plays for Lake Weir’s JV volleyball team. One day Keeley hopes to go to college to earn a degree to become a guidance counselor. Keeley’s favorite color is purple and her favorite animals are pandas.
Dorante Boyd - I’ve been in TV production for three years now, and I’m really enjoying it so far. My favorite genre is comedy but I’m not that funny. My favorite thing to do is play the piano and make music. I’ve been a musician since the age of six years old. My favorite color is green and my favorite food is pizza. I was born in December 1995. My favorite type of music is jazz. I have five fish. I am six foot two inches and I’m 125 pounds. I’m very athletic in sports. I play basketball, track and field, and spring football.
