Instructer - Beth Rowe
Raymond Abreu, a senior at Gateway High School, spends most of his time practicing and playing baseball. He is currently a member of the Varsity Baseball team and hopes to earn a spot on a college’s baseball team.
Victor Burgos, also a senior at Gateway, is planning to earn his community service hours through the school’s Interact Club. His future plans include earning a degree in a technological field by attending Valencia College and then transferring to UCF.
Carlos Bustamante, a junior at Gateway spends many hours practicing with the Panther Marching Band and the Varsity Soccer team. He is very interested in a career in Film as a Production Engineer.
Patrice Chupany is spending her senior year preparing for her studies at UCF in the College of Communications and Psychology.
Christian Crespo is also a senior at Gateway High School and is very interested in the Student Varsity Reporter program. He attended the training seminar and is very excited to have an opportunity to share his videos with the world.
Matthew Crespo, a sophomore student loves to break dance. Anytime a volunteer is needed for camera shots, Matthew gets in the dance pose. He is planning to study Criminal Justice at a local college.
Clifford Forrest, another sophomore, is very active with Gateway’s Key Club. He is very interested in pursuing a career as a graphics designer.
Paige Fulton, a senior Marching Band member, is very active in numerous clubs, including Beta Club and Ecology Club. Her future goals are to get a degree in Criminology from University of South Florida.
Saquoia Grant is also a senior at Gateway. She is very active in numerous sports, currently managing the Varsity Football team. As a player, she enjoys competing in Weightlifting, Flag Football, and Track. Her spare time is spent with the activities hosted by Beta Club. Her future plans include a career in sports medicine.
Jonathan Lebron, a senior at Gateway is very interested in graphic arts and plans to work as a Multimedia Artist and Animator.
Ingrid Lopez, also a senior athlete, spends all her time perfecting her Soccer moves. She is currently a member of the Varsity Soccer team and plans to attend college at UCF.
Salvador Lopez, a sophomore, is busy every afternoon with the 21st Century Program. He is enjoying the opportunities a Varsity Reporter gives him, especially recording the football games. His plans include a future at UCF.
Emely Mendez, a senior at Gateway, spends many hours on a practice field. She is an active team member on the Girls’ Weightlifting Team and the Track and Field. Her after school activities include attending BETA club meetings and recording the football practices and games. Her future includes attending Rutgers University in New Jersey to earn a degree in Sports Medicine.
Angel Mercado, a senior at Gateway, enjoys playing video games in his spare time. He is planning a career as a game designer for Ubisoft Studios!
Karla Ortiz, a freshman, is very interested in keeping her grades up in high school to allow her to attend a university to receive a degree in Pediatrics.
Joselyn Ramos, another Gateway senior, is very interested in Photography. She is planning a future as a neurosurgeon who can continue her hobby as a photographer.
Mathew Rios, a junior at Gateway, spends many hours on the school’s Swimming Team. He is very interested in pursuing a career in the movie industry as a 3D modeler. But as a backup plan, he will continue his studies in Psychology.
Leonardo Rivera, another junior, has set his sights on a “dream career” as a film maker.
Andres Rodriguez, also a junior, is very interested in a career in the gaming industry. He plans to continue taking as many digital media classes as possible.
Aaron Rosario, a sophomore, is very interested in mechanical design. He plans to attend college to earn a degree as a Mechanical Design Engineer to give him the opportunity to design Roller Coasters.
Geraldine Santiago, also a sophomore, is very active with the Japanese Culture Club. She is very interested in pursuing a career in Anime. She wants to be credited as an animator or voice actor for animated films.
Desiree Savinon, a senior at Gateway, is planning to study medicine with hopes to someday be a doctor.
Peter Sharp, also a senior, spends his time practicing tennis for the Gateway Panther’s Tennis Team. He is very interested in game design and creation.
Mariah Shoemaker, a sophomore student, is very active in Gateway’s many sports including: Weightlifting, Flag Football, and Girls’ Basketball. After graduation, she is interested in serving her county with the Air Force.
Michael Smith, a freshman, spends most of his time with the Gateway Panther Marching Band. He is also a student with the International Baccalaureate program. His future plans include earning a degree in Electrical Engineering.
Analesa Stegkamper, a senior at Gateway spends all her day taking AP College classes along with her Career Tech courses. She is a member of the GSA club and is planning to attend pharmacy school for a future career as a Pharmacist.
Jason Thorpe, also a senior, spends every afternoon at Gateway with the 21st Century program. He is interested in pursuing a career in computers or as an Auto Mechanic.
Shannon Wright, a senior member of the Yearbook Staff, enjoys taking photographs. She is planning to attend college to pursue a career in photography.
