What's the fastest route to get to work? Before your start your engine, check in first with Ted Noah and Real Time Traffic on Your Morning News, News 13.

Ted Noah knows Central Florida traffic. He's been helping motorists avoid the traffic pitfalls of their daily commute for years. Ted comes to News 13 from our partners at Metro Traffic, which was originally based out of Orlando.

In fact, Ted could be heard weekdays on News 13 as a voiceover reporter for Real Time Traffic. He has even shot video for News 13 from our Sky 13 helicopter.

Before transitioning to television, Ted got his start in radio at the young age of 16. As a teenager growing up in Cape May, New Jersey, Ted attended the Cape May County Technical School, studying Communications Arts Technology. As a student, he worked as an intern for News Talk 106.7 WJNN.

Soon he started on his own road to success, working as a programming director, music director and afternoon announcer at WZBZ 99.3 FM in Atlantic City; as an afternoon announcer for WBZE Star 98.9 in Tallahassee, where he was recognized for Excellence in Ratings from Cumulus Broadcasting; as a traffic reporter and DJ at Mix 105.1 in Orlando; and as an afternoon announcer/DJ at WEAT Sunny 104.3 in Palm Beach/Ft. Lauderdale.

When he's not working inside the studios at News 13, Ted is outside playing. His favorite activity is snorkeling, along with hiking, biking, weightlifting and softball. He also spends time with his two favorite buddies, his cats.
