Natalie Tolomeo, Reporter
Natalie Tolomeo is extremely excited to be in Central Florida! She joined the News 13 team in June 2012 as a solo correspondent...shooting and editing her own stories she reports on a daily basis.
Born in Atlanta and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Natalie loves hearing people's stories and sharing them with others.
Prior to moving to Orlando, Natalie was in Springfield, Massachusetts. There she worked at WSHM-CBS 3 Springfield where she was a reporter, anchor and producer. Natalie was known for digging deep and breaking many stories in Western Mass. She worked closely with the Massachusetts State Police to bring many exclusive reports. Natalie also covered the Phoebe Prince bullying case, the deadly June 1, 2011 tornados, Tropical Storm Irene, and several severe snow storms. Natalie's contribution to the tornado coverage helped WSHM earn an Edward R. Murrow award and an AP award for breaking news coverage on the twister's devastating path of destruction.
Natalie worked as a reporter, anchor and producer for Independent News Network and KLJB in Davenport, IA before moving to Western Mass. She graduated from Dominican University, which is located just outside of the Windy City. She was named Most Distinguished Senior in Journalism. While earning her degree in journalism, Natalie interned at WMAQ-NBC 5 in Chicago.
Natalie has a passion for telling other people's stories. She enjoys meeting the people of Central Florida on a regular basis as she is out and about covering the news of the day. In her free time, Natalie likes to explore hidden treasures in her community, hit a new bike trail with her boyfriend and cook....anything Italian!
