State House Speaker Sansom Resigns From Controversial College Job

TALLAHASSEE -- Florida House Speaker Ray Sansom announced Monday he will resign from his position as a fundraiser for a Panhandle college.
Sansom has been under fire for taking the job at Florida Northwest College, while at the same time quietly funneling millions of dollars in funds to the small school at a time when other schools are struggling.
There were also calls to have him resign as speaker of the house.
