PALM COAST -- A couple is accused of committing sex acts with a 15-year-old girl and dogs they adopted from a local humane society.
The Flagler County Sheriff's Office said David Maldonado, 42, and his wife, Carla Maldonado, 40, were being held at the Flagler County Inmate Facility. Their bonds were set at $15,000 and $10,000 respectively.
Debra Johnson, the public information officer for the sheriff's office, said the management of the Flagler County Humane Society turned over a compact disc showing Carla engaging in sexual activity with dogs she had adopted from the society.
Carla was a long-time employee at the humane society, and has since been fired.
Deputies said the CD also contained approximately 16 photographs of Carla engaging in sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl, who was an acquaintance of the family. That girl is now 19 years old. Investigators also seized two computers from the couple's home.
Deputies said David photographed the acts.
Both Carla and David were charged with providing the victim with alcohol and encouraging the participation in the sex acts.
Authorities said they think there could more victims.
Anyone who thinks they may have been victimized by the couple is asked to call the Flagler County Sheriff's Office at (386) 586-4801.
